Yesterday during the Xbox Games Showcase Rebellion, the studio behind the shooter franchises Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, today revealed its newest project titled Atomfall, a new action and survival game set in the British countryside, inspired by the real events of the 1957 Windscale nuclear disaster in the north of England, resuming the story five years after the fire in a fictional quarantine zone.

According to the director, the game will mix Cold War paranoia with horror mysteries and elements of classic British science fiction, such as Day of the Triffids, Doctor Who and The Quatermass Experiment.

Explore the countryside, villages and settlements and meet strange people, evil cults, rogue government agencies and others along the way. Explore this open-world adventure and seek the truth at your own pace.

Atomfall will be released in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and will also be available at launch through the Game Pass subscription service.

I like several different works, but with a tendency for strange and funny stories.

I like arts, games, drawings and interesting things.
