The Thing: Remastered is a 2002 third-person team survival shooter that follows up on the 1982 genre-defining film and is back, remastered by Nightdive Studios, which brings this innovative and frenetic combination of horror, survival and action into the modern era, with anti-aliasing, per-pixel lighting and 4K resolution running at up to 144 FPS.

Step into the shoes of Capt. H.J. Blake, leader of a US Special Forces rescue team sent to investigate the blood-curdling events and enigmatic deaths of the American scientific team that occurred at the research station Outpost 31, located in the frozen wastes of Antarctica. In this inhospitable environment, his team encounters a strange alien being that changes shape and takes on the appearance of the people it kills. Isolated by the cold and infected by this horrible entity, all team members must cooperate if you hope to accomplish objectives, let alone survive. If only you could know which of them are still human...

The Thing: Remastered arrives on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S later this year.
